Empowering Women. Bridging the Financial Gap.
Through microloans and mentorship, SheEO Foundations helps women build sustainable businesses, transform their communities, and create lasting economic independence for their families.
Where we step in
-
We Upskill.
Through our Microenterprise Accelerator Program, we equip women entrepreneurs with the practical skills and financial understanding they need to start and sustain small businesses. Our workshops focus on simple, hands-on tools—teaching women how to source and price products, keep clear records, and manage money in a way that supports both their business and their household.
-
We Mentor.
Our hands-on mentorship program pairs each entrepreneur with a mentor who gives guidance, shares real-world experience, and helps builds confidence throughout the workshops and preparing for receiving a loan. In addition to in-person mentors, SheEO Foundation provides a digital platform to extend learning with an AI powered learning coach.
-
We Invest.
Through our social microfinance model, we provide women with small, flexible capital that supports the growth of their businesses and strengthens local savings groups. This community-led approach helps entrepreneurs expand their livelihoods, contribute to household stability, and build stronger local economies.
We exist because we believe that empowering one woman has the power to transform an entire community.

FAQs
-
SheEO Foundation equips women entrepreneurs in underserved communities with the tools they need to build sustainable businesses. Through business training, mentorship, and access to micro-capital, we help women strengthen their enterprises, grow their income, and become confident leaders who uplift their communities.
-
SheEO Foundation operates across Kenya, with its headquarters in Nairobi and active community programs running through field offices in Kajiado, Kilifi, Kiambu, and Migori counties. Our work focuses on reaching women in underserved, low-income, and marginalized communities, including informal settlements and rural or peri-urban areas. Through this county-based model, we’re able to deliver close-to-home support, mentorship, and financial access directly within the communities we serve.
-
SheEO primarily works with women entrepreneurs in underserved, low-income, and marginalized communities — especially those who may lack access to formal finance, business training, or institutional support. It aims to uplift women who wish to launch or grow micro-enterprises and want to become financially independent, sustainable, and potentially job-creators in their communities.
-
You can support by donating, partnering, or volunteering your expertise as a mentor. Contributions directly expand training programs, increase the loan fund, and strengthen our reach in underserved communities.
-
MAP is our flagship program where women receive structured business training, personalized mentorship, and access to micro-loans. The program focuses on strengthening business fundamentals, building confidence, and increasing income through sustainable enterprise growth.
-
Our approach centers on dignity, agency, and long-term sustainability. Instead of handouts, we invest in women’s capacity—helping them build the knowledge, confidence, and financial pathways needed to transform their families and communities.
-
Women can apply through our local field offices or via community partners. We focus on entrepreneurs who show commitment, resilience, and a desire to grow. Program acceptance depends on availability in each county and alignment with our mission.
-
Our programs are offered at low or no cost to ensure accessibility. When micro-loans are provided, they come with fair and transparent terms. We intentionally design our support to remove barriers—not create new ones.
